Tahun 2013 ada 14 Hari Libur Nasional 

dan 5 Hari Cuti Bersama

Jakarta, 19 Juli – Penandatanganan Surat Kerja Bersama (SKB) tentang Hari Libur Nasional dan Cuti Bersama tahun 2013 telah dilakukan oleh Menteri Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi, Muhaimin Iskandar dan Menteri Penertiban Aparatur Negara & Reformasi Birokrasi disaksikan Menko Kesra, HR. Agung Laksono, Kamis (19/7/2012) di ruang Rapat Menko Kesra, Kemenko Kesra, Jl. Medan Merdeka Barat No.3, Jakarta.

Sebelum dilakukan penandatanganan tersebut didahulu dengan rakor pembahasan draft SKB Hari Libur Nasional dan Cuti Bersama tahun 2013. Dijelaskan oleh Menko Kesra bahwa diadakannya pengaturan Hari Libur Nasional dan Cuti Bersama tahun 2013 antara  lain, pertama, untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas dalam pemanfaatan hari kerja, hari libur, dan cuti bersama sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas kerja. Kedua, untuk mwningkatkan sektor pariwisata dalam negeri yang mempunyai dampak peningkatan ekonomi. Ketiga, sebagai kompensasi bagi PNS yang tidak pernah/kesulitan waktu mengambil cuti.

Untuk tahun 2013, Hari Libur Nasional ada 14 hari yaitu :

1 Januari Libur Tahun baru 2013, 

24 Januari Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW, 

10 Februari Tahun Baru Imlek 2564, 

12 Maret Hari Raya Nyepi Tahun Baru Saka 1935, 

29 Maret Wafat Is Al Masih, 

9 Mei Kenaikan Isa Almasih, 

25 Mei Hari Raya Waisak 2557, 

6 Juni Isra”Mi”raj Nabi Muhammad SAW, 

17 Agustus, Hari Kemerdekaan RI, 

8 dan 9 Agustus Hari Raya Idul Fitri 1434 H., 

15 Oktober Hari Raya Idul Adha 1434 H., 

5 Nopember Tahun  Baru 1435 H 

25 Desember Hari Raya Natal.

Sedangkan Untuk  cuti bersama ada 5 hari, yaitu :

Tanggal 5,6 dan 7 Agustus 2013 dalam menyambut Hari Raya Idul Fitri 1434 H, 

tanggal 14 Oktober Hari raya Idul Adha 1434H dan 

26 Desember dalam Hari Raya Natal
